What is Rendovlint?
Rendovlint is an investing education platform. It teaches people to understand an investment, check who they would pay and decide for themselves. It works in three ways: one-to-one tutoring built on your own questions, lessons in three tracks that anyone can read, and lessons on using AI assistants safely for research.
An informed decision is one you can explain in your own words: what you are buying, how it makes money, what it costs, what could go wrong, how you get out and who holds the money. Most costly mistakes skip at least one of those questions. We teach you to ask all of them, every time, before any money moves.
We are an education business, not a financial adviser. We don't pick investments for you, which keeps the decision with you.
Before you pay for any investment: the Ten Before You Pay check
- What is it, exactly?
- How does it make money?
- What can go wrong?
- What does it cost in total?
- How and when can I get out?
- Does it fit my goal and timeline?
- Who holds the money? Stop question
- Is the firm checked? Stop question
- Would I be fine if it fell by a third?
- Have I written the decision down?
How we work, in four numbers
3 learning tracks
Before you invest, making the decision, and AI for investors. Each lesson leaves you with a checklist, a rule or a set of prompts.
1 tutor, 1 learner
Tutoring is one to one and built on your own questions, not on a fixed script.
0 client money held
We never take, hold or manage anyone's money. Yours stays in accounts you control.
0 commissions
No bank, platform or product provider pays us anything, whatever you decide.
How can tutoring and lessons help you decide?
Tutoring, AI tutoring and the lessons each help in a different way. One-to-one tutoring answers your own questions and works through your real documents. AI tutoring shows you how to use an AI assistant to learn and to check, never to pick. The lessons give everyone a route through the basics, in order, with something practical in each.
One-to-one tutoring
Lessons with a tutor, built on what you want to understand: risk, fees, an offer you have received or your own plan. We can also go through a firm or offer together, so you learn to check it yourself. See investing tutoring.
AI for investing
How to use an AI assistant to explain, summarise and check, and how to tell when its answer is wrong. See AI tutoring, or start with what AI can and can't do for you.
Lessons in three tracks
Ten lessons, read in order, from a first-time checklist to spotting AI trading bot scams. They are open to everyone. Start learning.
What will you learn in the three tracks?
The lessons are grouped into three tracks, each read in order. Track 1 covers what to sort out before you invest. Track 2 covers making the decision and checking who you pay. Track 3 covers using AI for investment research safely. Each lesson ends with something you can use: a checklist, a rule or a set of prompts.
Track 1: Before you invest
Track 2: Making the decision
The lessons page explains where to start and what each lesson leaves you able to do.
How does one-to-one tutoring work?
Tutoring starts with an introductory consultation, where we learn what you want to understand and what you already know. From that we suggest a learning plan. The lessons then work on your real questions and documents, and they all end the same way: you decide what to do, with your reasons written down.
Free introductory consultation
You email us a few lines about what you want to learn. We reply to arrange a free introductory consultation, online, to hear your questions and your starting point.
Your learning plan
We suggest the topics and the order, from the basics you need to the decision in front of you, and agree the plan with you before lessons start.
Lessons on your real questions
We work through the documents, offers and questions you bring, using worked examples rather than jargon, and you practise each check yourself.
You decide
You leave with your own notes and checklist. What to do with your money is always your decision, made with the reasons written down.
Is Rendovlint legit? What we never do
Rendovlint is a genuine education business, and you can check it yourself. We never ask you to send money to invest, take no commissions, never tell you what to buy or sell and never promise returns. Our emails come only from this website's domain, and anyone asking for money, passwords or codes in our name isn't us.
We are not a regulated financial adviser. If your situation needs personal advice, we'll say so and help you prepare the questions to ask a regulated adviser.
- No commissions from anyone
- No tips on what to buy or sell
- No promised returns
- Contact by email only
What can AI do for an investor, and what can't it?
An AI assistant can explain a term, summarise a long document, list the questions to ask and argue the other side of your idea. It can't predict prices, doesn't know your situation and can state wrong numbers with confidence. Used well, it speeds up learning and checking. It should never make the decision.
Useful for
- explaining a term or a structure in plain words;
- summarising a fund document or annual report, so you know what to read closely;
- listing the questions to put to a firm before you pay;
- arguing against your own reasoning, to find what you missed.
Not for
- predicting prices or picking investments;
- current prices, fees or rules, which you must check in the original;
- judging your personal situation;
- replacing the checks on a firm or offer.
Explain the ongoing charge in this fund document in plain English. Don't tell me whether to buy. List what I should check in the original document.
AI assistant: The ongoing charge is the yearly cost of running the fund, taken out of the fund's value. To check in the original:
1. the figure and the date it was worked out;
2. whether an account fee comes on top;
3. any entry, exit or performance fees.
Then check it yourself: find each figure in the original document before you rely on it.
Read how to use AI for investing for a safe five-step routine, or see AI tutoring to practise it with a tutor.
How do you check a firm before you pay?
Find the firm on the official register of the financial regulator in its country, and check that its permissions cover what it is offering you. Compare its web address and contact details with the register, and contact it only through those details. Then find out who would actually hold your money. Clone firms copy real names, so every step matters.
Three lessons go through it step by step: how to check an investment firm or broker, investment fraud red flags, including crypto and relationship scams, and how AI trading bot scams work.
Have an offer in front of you?
Bring it to a tutoring lesson. We go through it with you, one check at a time: the firm's entry on the official register, its contact details, who would hold your money and what the terms say. You learn to run the same checks on the next offer yourself, and the decision stays yours.
Common questions about Rendovlint
Is Rendovlint a financial adviser?
No. Rendovlint is an education business. We teach you how investments, costs, risks and checks work so you can decide for yourself, but we never tell you what to buy or sell. If you want personal advice on what to do, you need a regulated financial adviser, and we can help you prepare the questions to ask one.
Does Rendovlint hold my money?
No, never. We don't take, hold, move or manage anyone's money, and we never ask you to send money to invest. We also never need your passwords, logins or one-time codes. Your money stays in accounts you control.
Are the lessons paid?
The lessons on this website are open to everyone to read, and the introductory consultation is free. One-to-one tutoring, held online, is paid by the learner, and that is how we earn. Nobody else pays us, so nothing pushes us towards a product.
Do I need any investing experience?
No. Tutoring starts from where you are, including from nothing. The introductory consultation finds your starting point, and the plan begins there. If you are completely new, the first-time checklist is a good first read.
How do I start?
Send us a short email saying what you'd like to learn. We'll reply to arrange an introductory consultation. The contact page lists what is useful to include.
